Pay by Credit Card or Direct Deposit

We accept Visa and MasterCard which incur an additional 2% to cover bank surcharge. Direct deposits have no bank fees, so please enquire for our bank details.

Rental Duration

The minimum rental is 3 days. Vehicle rentals are calculated on a per calendar day basis, i.e. day of pick-up is counted as day one irrespective of what time it is picked up. Same with drop off. Often we allow you to pickup afternoon before and no charge, so you can pack and get underway early the next day.

Driver's Licence and Minimum Age

Drivers must be 25 years + and have a full motor vehicle driver's licence which must be shown upon vehicle collection. Should a foreign licence be in a language other than English it must be accompanied by a current international driving licence. In fact it is a good idea to have an International Drivers Licence as the laws may vary from State to State in Australia. For drivers 75 years of age or over, a medical certificate stating that the customer is fit to drive for the duration of the hire is required upon vehicle collection.

Extra driver fee

2 drivers are included free and for additional drivers there is a fee of $50.00 per additional driver.

Road Restrictions

Motorhomes can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads. Exceptions to this are well maintained access roads of less than two kilometres to recognised campgrounds. Under body damage or damage from off road use is chargeable as is overhead damage above the windscreen, so watch out for trees, bridges etc.

Maps and Campground Guides

Each vehicle is supplied with a Road Atlas and campground guide. If you want tourism brochures please ask.

Vehicle Consultation

On pick up we provide a vehicle consultation and explain all the interior and exterior features of the motorhome as well as driving tips. If you need clarification or have questions please ask. We are available by phone or email should you have questions or need help while you are away.

Although we run late model vehicles, it may happen that small repairs are required. Repairs up to $200 may be affected without authorisation and will be reimbursed at the end of your rental. All vehicles are in RACV Total Care and have 24hr emergency roadside assistance. In the case of mechanical failure on your journey (unless caused by the renter) and if no other satisfactory solution can be found, the remainder of the rental period may be refunded, including relocating whilst repairs are made.

Infringements and Administration Costs

All motorhomes have e-tags for tollways. We will charge the renter for speeding, tollway or parking fines. In addition to these costs there will be a charge of $50 for associated administration costs for processing the fines.

Change of Vehicle

Should the vehicle booked be unavailable through unforeseen circumstances, Serenity Motorhomes reserve the right to upgrade or substitute an alternative comparable vehicle and at no extra cost. This shall not constitute a breach of contract and does not entitle the renter to a refund. In the event of no alternative vehicle being available to the renter, our liability is limited to a refund of the rental charge.

No animals are permitted in our vehicles without permission from Serenity Motorhomes, excluding assistance dogs.

Smoking is not allowed in our motorhomes. Extra cleaning charges will be charged to renters if cigarette ash, burns, stains or damage is found in the vehicle. Please keep the windows and doors closed when moving and stay well clear of camp fires when parked. Smoke smells are very hard to get rid of.
